Corrogard® FT is a corrosion inhibitor designed to protect fuel systems from water induced corrosion. The product functions by forming a molecular film on contacted surfaces. Once formed the film is maintained by regular addition to the fill up fuel. Corrogard® FT is constituted of carbon, hydrogen and oxygen only.

4. Corrogard® FT at recommended dosages will protect metal surfaces against severe corrosion, even salt water.

APPLICATION

Corrogard® FT is easily metered by volume into the fuel and then dispersed to ensure a homogeneous mixture. It is recommended that the product addition be automated using a dosing pump linked to the fuel dispensing pump. It may be advantageous to prepare a premix concentrate of the product in a small amount of fuel to aid dissolution.

PACKING AND HANDLING

Corrogard® FT is packed in 5 kg and 25 kg containers. The product should be stored in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight, store in original containers. Minimise exposure by good industrial hygiene practices. Use the necessary personal protection equipment.
