CORROTEK® ARC/ARM
Based on current methods each product covers
certain sectors with Corrotek® ARC providing excellent protection on Iron and
Cast Iron containing components. However as technology improves and more tests
are derived to test improvements product revisions are necessary to always
provide the best possible products, please find tables below.
VIA Test (ASTM TL8135-0002), Modified Military KT method, Razor blade test
(FED-STD-101 Test Method No. 3005):-
Grading for above mentioned tests:- 0 = fail (no corrosion inhibition).
1 = poor corrosion inhibition.
2 = fair corrosion inhibition.
3 = good corrosion inhibition.
4 = excellent corrosion inhibition.

The latest developments for Corrotek®
range
is the Corrotek® ARM. Developed around stringent criteria such as German bylaws
TRGS615, Corrotek® ARM does not include any raw materials that could cause
nitrosamines. Corrotek® ARC is nitrite free.
Variations
Corrotek® VCI Paper products can be supplied as a impregnated paper, effective
on both sides, polycoated on one side, barrier coated on one side & high
strength woven polyprop bonded on one side for tough applications.
Barrier coating (code named Corrotek® ARM/ARC BAC) keeps the paper recyclable
while drastically reducing moisture vapor transmission rates (MVTR) &
saturation.
Highest quality paper used and can be manufactured in weights ranging from 50gsm
to 112gsm upon availability and orders.
In South Africa we can produce in widths up to 1600mm (Current Standard is
1220mm) and in the EU we can produce up to 3000mm widths in all variations.

specific tests. The above results are derived from the Military spec test
methods & the Razor blade methods. The VIA does not allow for as many metals to
be considered hence we only conduct VIA tests on mild steel as per international
norms.
