CORROGARD® 41/45

Corrogard® 4 series is different from normal rust prevention coatings in that it is water based or water dispersible and contains no oil, solvents or other harmful materials. They are non-hazardous and are outside the scope of the Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) emission regulations of the Environment Protection Act. Corrogard® 4 series protects by direct contact with metal parts which have been coated by brush, dip, spray, etc. and allowed to dry.

  5. Corrogard® 4 series can be applied by conventional spray equipment as a rapid application system or be implemented in the works process so as to be “in line,” with the assembly.

 

APPLICATION

 

Corrogard® 4  series is easily applied by brush, roller or conventional spray equipment. Parts may also be treated by immersion and allowed to drip dry. The product will find application wherever there is a need for corrosion protection of metal parts or equipment.  

  

DIFFERENCES

 

Corrogard® 41 protects by direct contact with metal parts which have been coated by brush, dip, spray, etc. and allowed to dry. Designed for the protection of CAST IRON by means of contact, dip, spray etc.

Corrogard® 45 protects by direct contact with metal parts which have been coated by brush, dip, spray, etc. and allowed to dry. Designed for multi metallic protection of ferrous, copper, aluminium, galvanise and tinplate by means of contact, dip, spray etc.
